The Pro™C900S is equipped with a built-in EFI Fiery controller that has been developed especially for it. The powerful processor rips very fast and the maximum image resolution is a sharp 1,200 real dpi. Mechanical Paper Registration technology guarantees professional print accuracy. With ColorWise Pro Tools like calibration, custom profile creation and spot colour matching, printer colours can be managed with great precision. The standard Graphic Arts Package features soft and hard proofing, halftone simulation and paper simulations. Pre-flight and Image Viewer functions are available with the optional Graphic Arts Package Premium. For flexible Variable Data Printing, there is the standard EFI FreeForm utility.

With a 90 ppm print speed, the Pro™C900S is the fastest engine in its class. It accepts a variety of paper sizes up to SRA3 with a maximum weight of 300 g/m². The Pro™C900S does not slow down when printing heavy stock. Measures to guarantee excellent productivity include an 11,000-sheet input capacity and easy toner refill on the fly. To minimise downtime, Nashuatec has developed a number of Operator Replaceable Units, allowing users to gain time by servicing the machine themselves.

Several in-line finishing options automate the entire production workflow. A 3,000-sheet finisher with 100-sheet stapler, punch unit, saddle stitch unit, Z-folder, Plockmatic booklet maker and GBC StreamPunch™ III are available. For complete, professional booklets, customers can opt for the Ring Binder or Perfect Binder units. The Ring Binder automatically punches and binds documents of up to 50 or 100 sheets with black or white rings. With the Perfect Binder, users create books of up to 200 sheets with strong, glued backs. The books are trimmed at three edges. Two stackers, each with a 5,000-page capacity, can be connected. Combined with the 3,000-sheet finisher, they yield a maximum output of up to 13,000 sheets.
